Static Test in Traction
The devices allow tests to be carried out in compliance with the requirements of ISO 1431-1 and ASTM D1149

Standards the instrument complies with:
ASTM D1149;   ISO 1431-1;

Gibitre Instruments’ Planetary Effect Device enables static tensile exposure testing of rubber and thermoplastic materials. Inserted into the test chamber via a motorized winch, it can be raised to inspect specimens during exposure, making intermediate checks fast and practical.

Why choose it:
- Test up to 64 specimens at once: ideal for material comparison and high‑throughput quality control and measurement workflows.
- Standards compliance: static tensile exposure testing per ISO 1431-1, ISO 2285, ASTM D518-A, ASTM D1149, plus ASTM D412 and DIN 53 509-1—meeting the needs of testing tools aligned with international standards.
- Quick, accurate setup: an integrated ruler enables immediate setting of the required strain.
- Specimen flexibility: holder for 2 specimens at 25 mm or 4 specimens at 10 mm to accommodate different test geometries.
- Wide movable bracket travel (175 mm): covers the elongation ranges required by test procedures.

Planetary-Effect Device
Motor-controlled grip holder with planetary effect conforming to ISO 1431-1 Standard.
Up to 16 grips for static exposure can be installed on the grip holder at the same time for contemporary test inside the Ozone Cabinet.
Up to 64 samples (with 10 mm width) can be tested at the same time with the device.

Sample Holders for Static Test in Traction
Grip for Tension Set and Static Exposure Test in traction conforming to ISO 1431-1, ISO 2285, ASTM D 518-A, ASTM 1149, ASTM 412, DIN 53 509-1 Standards.
The grip permits to fix two samples with 25 mm width or 4 samples with 10 mm width.
The ruler on the device permits the easy adjustment of the desired strain.
The total run of the moving grip is 175 mm.

Insertion into the Test Chamber
The Planetary-Effect Device is inserted into the test chamber using the motorized winch.
The same winch allows you to lift the device to check the condition of the specimens.

The lifting winch is controlled by the interlocked safety device which inhibits its operation if the ozone concentration inside the chamber is above the safety limits (10 pphm)

Planetary Effect Device
Planetary displacement according to ISO 1431-1 and ASTM D4575 standards
Permits to installa up to 64 samples in the test chamber at the same time
Static Sample Holders
Allows to mount:
- 2 specimens with 25 mm width
- 4 specimens with a width of 10 mm
The integrated ruler allows easy adjustment of the desired elongation.
