Gibitre Instruments provides cutters according to international standards

Gibitre steel dies, built to international standards, produce specimens with constant geometry for dependable materials testing and alignment with preparation procedures such as ISO 23529. Manufactured from tool-grade mold steel and hardened by heat treatment, they deliver long service life. The spring-loaded ejector streamlines sample release, accelerating laboratory and quality-control workflows. Each die includes a calibration report traceable to primary standards, documenting compliance and linking results from measurement tools to reference metrology. Dies are preconfigured for Gibitre’s Manual Die-Cutting machine and can be supplied with dedicated attachment tangs to interface with other brands. Every unit comes in a wooden protective case and is engineered for repeated resharpening to control lifetime costs without compromising accuracy. Choosing these dies standardizes specimen preparation and improves measurement reliability.
Overview
Gibitre provides cutters conforming to international test standards.
The cutters are used for preparing samples using a cutting machine (produced by Gibitre or other).
Most of the cutters can be fitted with a spring ejector for the easy extraction of the sample.
All the cutters are provided with a wooden protection box.
All the cutters can be re-sharpened several times.
Dimensional Calibration
The cutters are supplied with Calibration Report with traceability to primary standards.
A calibrated 3D optical machine is used for testing the conformity of the critical dimensions of the cutter.
Multiple Cutters
The multiple dies allow to significantly reduce the time for the preparation of the specimens: three specimens can be prepared with a single cutting operation.
Use of the cutters with non-Gibitre cutting machines
Fittings with customer defined dimensions can be produced for adapting the cutters to all models of cutting machine.

Codol
