The adjustable dial indicator stand is engineered for precise thickness and strain measurement in testing elastomeric materials. Its rigid frame offers smooth vertical adjustment and a lapped reference plane for correct specimen positioning, ensuring stability, repeatability, and accuracy within laboratory tools and workflows.
The digital dial indicator can be selected to match the target characteristic. Options include comparators with controlled contact forces and tips of defined geometry, enabling measurements compliant with ISO 23529, ISO 815, ASTM D1414, ASTM D395-A, ASTM D395-B, as well as other PV and industry standards.
Optional Compression Set software acquires thickness data directly from the digital comparator via USB and automatically calculates Compression Set results per the chosen standard. It supports specimen identification, treatment selection, entry of initial and final thickness and spacer thickness. Results are checked against tolerances, stored in a Gibitre SQL

Comparators are available with application of controlled forces and with tops with specific shapes for measurements in accordance with ISO, PV, ASTM, etc. standards
Compression Set Software
The software allows to acquire the thickness measurement from the comparator (connected via USB cable) and to calculate the results of the Compression Set tests.
In particular, the software allows you to:
• identify the specimens
• select the specimen processing method that was used
• enter the initial and final thickness of each specimen and the thickness of the spacer used
• Calculate the Compression Set value obtained in compliance with the standards
• Compare the result with the tolerance limits and save the results in the Gibitre SQL standard database
• Produce Reports and Statistics.
